Meet the Gearlings

The steampunk spirits who power the Vault.

Behind every shipment, inspection, and treasure at Vault Foundry is a small but dedicated crew of Gearlings - curious mechanical beings powered by unique glowing cores.

They sort cards, inspect slabs, polish gems, and race to deliver every Vault on time. Each Gearling has their own purpose, personality, and role within the Foundry.

Every Gearling is original, hand-drawn art by AshForge Art, and their designs evolve over time as new sketches and finished art are created.

What Are Gearlings?

Gearlings are small, clockwork-inspired companions that live in an un-named world.
Each one is powered by a unique Core, a glowing crystal-like heart that defines their personality and purpose. No two Cores are ever the same - even when their frames start similar, they evolve and customise themselves as they work.

So welcome to our five gearling mascots.

They are the unseen workers behind every Vault you unbox, inspecting, sorting, and delivering your treasures.

The Gearlings were created to blend Vault Foundry’s two worlds:

  • Collecting Pokémon slabs, singles, and packs
  • Creating original hand-drawn art and characters

Their job?
To bring personality, story, and heart to every mystery box.

The Team

Each Gearling has a role inside the Foundry. Here’s who’s handling your Vault:

Pip


Pip handles the mail runs and first impressions. He’s always buzzing with excitement, juggling parcels, and somehow still manages to get every Vault sealed and shipped. He means well - even when he trips over the packing tape.

Cogsworth


Cogsworth keeps the Foundry in order. He’s the one counting inventory, sorting cards, and sighing when Pip mixes up the labels again. Nothing leaves the Vault without his approval - and his math is always right.

Sprocket


Sprocket’s the Foundry’s engineer and ideas guy - always building, sketching, or fixing something that probably wasn’t broken. He’s the one who works with fan artists to turn their designs into real cards and collectibles, usually while covered in paint or grease.

Ember


Ember guards the Foundry’s rarest finds. Every slab and treasure passes under her watch before it’s approved for shipping. She doesn’t say much, but everyone listens when she does - especially about value and authenticity.

Whir


Whir runs the deliveries with precision and speed. She knows every route, every address, and somehow keeps the chaos in check. If your Vault shows up early and perfectly packed, you’ve got her to thank.
